The dive

After a pressure tube of ~100 m you reach a large, near-vertical chamber; the sump drops to ~-70 m, ~-40 to -50 m at normal water. In 2005 three Italian-Slovenian expeditions explored the caves of the Bay of Kotor.

Very strong current at high water: the spring can then give 15–20 m³ a second.

In 2005 three Italian-Slovenian expeditions explored the caves of the Bay of Kotor. The system is linked to an intermittent submarine spring (a sea estavelle), passable at ~-30 m, ~300 m from the entrance. In April 2005 they put the flow at 15–20 m³ a second.
