Other people's footage, not advice: how someone else dives here says nothing about what suits your team. Dive within your training.

The dive

One of Stocking Island's famous blue holes: on Dive Exuma's snorkel tours you stop at the entrance of Mystery Cave and look in from the surface.

Many of the Exumas' blue holes pump massive amounts of water in and out with the tides (Advanced Diver Magazine, on the Exumas in general).
Profile and sections

One of Stocking Island's famous blue holes: on Dive Exuma's snorkel tours you stop at the entrance of Mystery Cave and look in from the surface. Around the entrance a travel source names grunts, Atlantic spadefish and snappers.

According to the Grand Isle Resort blog the system runs right under Stocking Island and links up with an inland blue hole. We found no diving or expedition source that describes the cave beyond the entrance.

Practical: snorkelling at the entrance only, on a Dive Exuma tour.

Depth and profile
Depth not published by a diving or expedition source; the Grand Isle Resort blog gives a maximum diving depth of 80 ft (~24 m).
Configuration
Unknown: no source describes the cave beyond the entrance.

Certification requirements, configurations and trimix depths are estimates for planning. Always check them locally and dive within your training. Compiled from web research (Nov 2026): PADI (Angelfish Blue Hole, with text by Dive Exuma), Dive Exuma, the Grand Isle Resort blog, Advanced Diver Magazine (the Exuma Cave Expedition with Dr. Thomas Iliffe, undated), Wikipedia and the Bahamas National Trust. Angelfish Blue Hole's pin comes from PADI; the other caves have no published pin. Only Angelfish Blue Hole is a regular guided dive; the rest are known from expeditions and are listed as information.
