The dive

Along a slightly overhanging rock wall you find a large, dark opening. Beyond it the cave is spacious, with stalactites and stalagmites, and inside you see air above the water.

Dark cave: light needed. Bubbles dislodge sediment from the ceiling, so visibility inside worsens as the dive goes on.
Profile and sections

Along a slightly overhanging rock wall you find a large, dark opening. Beyond it the cave is spacious, with stalactites and stalagmites, and inside you see air above the water. Colour fades quickly past the entrance, and it is dark.

German-speaking divers call it the Mariengrotte; Divebooker describes a stalactite cave with a large opening at the top.

Practical: East Coast Divers rates the dive 'medium' and a drift dive.

Average -8 m, max -18 m (East Coast Divers); Divebooker gives max -13 m. Inside there is 4–6 m of water. Cave ~80 m long and ~30 m wide (Divebooker).
Configuration
All configurations (estimate): a spacious cave with a large entrance.
DPV: Not DPV-suitable (estimate)

Certification requirements, configurations and trimix depths are estimates for planning. Always check them locally and dive within your training. Compiled from web research (Sept 2026): Govern de les Illes Balears (Xarxa Natura 2000, marine reserves), BOE, Papers SEB and Endins (Gràcia et al.), Federació Balear d'Espeleologia, news (Ultima Hora, eldiario.es), dive centres, ActivityFan and wannadive; Govern de les Illes Balears – Servei de Planificació al Medi Natural (message, Oct 2026). Published surveys of the caves appear in the journal Endins (Federació Balear d'Espeleologia); we don't reproduce them. Pins come from OpenStreetMap, Grottocenter/grottomap, Wikipedia and wannadive (for sea caves a boat position); seven sites have no pin yet. The sea caves near Font de sa Cala (Cueva del Raya, Baile de las Brujas, Plaza de Torres) come from the dive-site page of Dive & Fun Font de sa Cala (Oct 2026). ~ = estimate; certification levels and configurations are estimates.
