Other people's footage, not advice: how someone else dives here says nothing about what suits your team. Dive within your training.

The dive

At the edge of a reef, the underwater extension of the headland, you drop along a steep wall with narrow horizontal cracks.

According to Atlantis, Submarine Cave runs long and winding deep into the rock ('an extended cave dive') and has a silty floor at -34 m.
Profile and sections

At the edge of a reef, the underwater extension of the headland, you drop along a steep wall with narrow horizontal cracks. Through them you reach a large cave whose roof has collapsed: two huge holes with a narrow rock bridge between them that looks like an arch from below. Looking back at the north wall you see 'the Face', with two 'eyes' and a big 'mouth'. A quarter of an hour's diving to the west, towards Double Arch, lies Submarine Cave, with a silty floor. You see groupers, scorpionfish, amberjack, morays, octopus, starfish, tuna, damselfish and saddled bream.

Despite its name the Triple Arch is not a tunnel or an arch but a collapsed cave; maltadives.com calls it Calypso Cave or Calypso Tunnel. The name Submarine Cave has nothing to do with a submarine.

Practical: maltadives.com rates Submarine Cave 'Experienced' and Calypso Cave 'Advanced'; divers often combine the two with Double Arch. Pin from maltadives.com (approximate).

Depth and profile
Site average -30 m, beyond -45 m (maltadives.com). Triple Arch: narrow horizontal cracks at -21 m and -30/-32 m lead into a large cave of >30 m; the best view is at -19 m under the 'arch'. Submarine Cave: from -21 m to a silty bottom at -34 m (Atlantis); length not published.
Configuration
Backmount or sidemount (estimate); you enter through narrow horizontal cracks. For a long dive divers advise a tech setup or very good air consumption.
DPV: DPV possible (estimate)
A scooter shortens the long swim from the shore; little gain inside the caves.

How to get there

By boat, or from the shore at Xwejni (entry rated 'medium' by maltadives.com) with a long swim, sometimes with current. The Triple Arch (Calypso Cave) lies ~100 m offshore north of Marsalforn Tower; Submarine Cave is ~15 minutes' diving further west along the same wall, towards Double Arch. Atlantis Gozo dives here.
