The dive

The water is warmer than in the caves around it: ~23–24 °C against ~19 °C. The terminal rockpile is loose and friable.

High CO₂ in the air chamber: cross it on your own gas (cylinder or rebreather). Loose rockpile at the end.

A 190 m sump through a phreatic maze, an 80 m dry chamber, then the Glacier Lake sump (130 m) to a rockpile chamber ~30 m across; ~350 m underwater.

How to get there

~30 minutes on unsealed tracks from Cocklebiddy Roadhouse; manager DBCA (apply 4 weeks ahead). A steep slope down a nearly choked rockpile to the main chamber and a small lake. CDAA rating: Cave.
