The dive

A single focused beam of light falls through the narrow, slit-shaped entrance, and the walls are covered in violet algae and lichens. After the cave the dive continues as a drift along a wall, without current.

Practical: Tremiti Diving Center and Aquodiving dive the cave only at night, because too many boats come and go by day. Tremiti Diving Center rates the dive easy and asks for at least an OWD certification; Aquodiving's night dive needs a Night certification. You may not dive here without authorisation.

Depth and profile
Plan for -30 m: a tourism site gives 'about 30 m' (whether depth or length is unclear); Tremiti Diving Center gives max -20 m and the AMP max -15 m.
Configuration
You enter the water inside the cave; dimensions not published. The entrance is a narrow slit.
DPV: Not DPV-suitable
Scooters are banned in the AMP except for divers with a disability.
