The dive

Izvor Klokota is the source of the Klokot, a short river that joins the Una after 4.5 km. The spring lies among dense evergreen trees, and the river water averages 8–10 °C (Croatian Wikipedia).

Deep (divers reached -104.5 m without finding the bottom) and cold: only for divers trained and equipped for it.

Bihać and the Una valley lie where two large karst systems end, those of the Plješevica and the Grmeč, and the area is rich in large drinking-water springs and flooded caves (Una Aquarius).

This is how the planner decides who in your team may dive this cave. Rules your own trip adds (organizer, a mail, the AI) show with your trip.

How to get there

At the source of the Klokot, at the foot of the Plješevica a few hundred metres from the Željava airfield, west of Bihać. Next to the spring stands a waterworks (OpenStreetMap): it is a drinking-water source, so ask whether and how you may dive. Una Aquarius in Bihać organises cave dives in the area for certified, experienced divers in groups; its site names no caves, so ask whether Klokot is one of them.
