The dive

A shallow cave: most of the dive you are between -1 and -5 m, with air pockets under the ceiling in a few places. The water is ~7 °C. There is one mainline of ~0.5 km, which ends at a collapse.

There is one mainline of ~0.5 km, which ends at a collapse.

Practical: the road there is narrow and remote, and you walk the last stretch over rocks with your gear.

Depth and profile
Mostly -1 to -5 m · max ~-13 m (InDEPTH: 12 m)
Configuration
Shallow, so the long dive is about gas and cold (7 °C), not depth. Sidemount is easier to carry over the rocks.

How to get there

The source of the Crni Timok is at the start of the Pećura gorge by the village of Krivi Vir (Boljevac municipality), along a narrow road. From the car you walk a narrow path by the river and over rocks to a dry cave section, carrying all your gear. Access: ask.
