The dive

Visibility is good at the entrance and drops only in the narrower sections. The water is 7–8 °C and you feel it. After heavy rain the spring turns murky.

Restriction at ~-70 m, deep and in cold water: only for divers trained and equipped for it.
Profile and sections

Visibility is good at the entrance and drops only in the narrower sections. The water is 7–8 °C and you feel it. After heavy rain the spring turns murky.

The cave drops steeply: there is a restriction at ~-70 m and the map continues to -123 to -125 m. Serbian cave divers use the spring a lot for training.

Practical: it is busy with day-trippers. Arrange cylinders and gas in advance (InDEPTH rented them in Belgrade).

How to get there

The spring is at the village of Krupaje (Despotovac municipality), next to a busy tourist spot: you park close by and carry your cylinders to the water. A fish farm sits by the pool. Access and any permit: ask.
