Accès et règles
- Access: of the natural underwater caves, only the Molnár János cave is open to visiting divers, guided through MJ Cave (the only licensed operator). The spring cave in Lake Hévíz (recreational diving in the lake is prohibited), the Tapolca Lake Cave (boat trips only) and the Kossuth cave at Jósvafő (only with permission from Aggtelek National Park) are for permitted research teams only.
- Paperwork for the Molnár János cave: certification cards (cave, nitrox/trimix, CCR unit, drysuit, DPV), cave-diving insurance (e.g. DAN) and a medical certificate from a physician. Book by email (info@mjcave.hu), well in advance.
- Kőbánya cellars: guided dives through Titán Búvár (TBK Divers), MJ Cave, Hidroszféra, Búvár-ABC or BornToDive; the Park well is also open to OWD/AOWD, the other three wells need a cave card.
Gaz et gonflage
- Gas: MJ Cave fills air and EAN32 and charges oxygen and helium per litre (trimix blending); sofnolime €10/kg, rental doubles €12 and S80 €6 plus fills, scooter €30 per dive. Titán Búvár rents filled twinsets and EAN32 stages.
Eau et saison
- Water: Molnár János year-round 28 °C down to -10 m and ~18–20 °C deeper (drysuit mandatory outside zone 1). Kőbánya 8–14 °C, air in the mine ~8 °C.

- Rest day: Budapest's thermal baths (the Lukács bath is right by the cave), a dry tour of the Kőbánya cellars, or the boat trip through the Tapolca Lake Cave (~2 h drive).
