Accès et règles
- Access: you dive these three mines only through their operator or club. Miltitz: Klipphausen municipality (owner) and the approved dive school Tauchtreff Dresden; Felsendome Rabenstein: Tauchschule Sachsenluft; Crottendorf: diving club Crottentaucher e.V. Always register in advance.
- Paperwork (Miltitz, 2016 rules): cave certification, nitrox/trimix certification for those gases, unit-specific CCR certification, logbook with your last 30 dives, valid dive medical, technical-diving insurance (e.g. DAN, aqua med, VDST) and a waiver signed on site. Solo diving, unauthorised teaching, scooters and pee valves are banned; dives deeper than -30 m must be announced in advance (10 days ahead per the Nov 2015 rules).
Gaz et gonflage
- Gas: no fill station at the mines. Chemnitz: Füllstation Chemnitz (air to 300 bar, O₂, helium) and Sachsenluft (air). Dresden: Tauchtreff Dresden. In Meißen, 200bar.de lists Tauchschule Abyss (Großenhainer Str. 26) as a fill station — current status unknown. No source found for sofnolime or CCR support — bring your own.
Eau et saison
- Season and water: Miltitz only in the cold half of the year (roughly Oct–Mar/Apr), mainly at weekends; Felsendome and Crottendorf year-round by appointment. Mine water is ~8 °C: drysuit with good undergarments.

- Bases: Chemnitz is central (Rabenstein ~15 min, Miltitz and Crottendorf ~1 h each). For Miltitz, Meißen (~15 min) or Dresden (~30 min); for Crottendorf, Annaberg-Buchholz (~20 min).

- Rest day: guided tours of the Kalkbergwerk Miltitz (Apr–Dec, Sundays and public holidays 13:30) and the Felsendome Rabenstein (daily 10:00–17:00).
