The dive

A large school of tarpon hangs out in the canyons.

The arch lies deeper than 30 m on the edge of a sheer wall: watch your depth and no-deco time. Red Sail requires your own dive computer, staying within five minutes of your no-deco limit and a safety stop on dives to 30 m.
Profile and sections
Depth and profile
A sheer wall ~90 m long, cut by channels, canyons, smaller tunnels and overhangs; the giant coral archway on the edge of the wall is at ~32 m (106 ft). One of the passages is ~27 m (90 ft) long.
Configuration
Wide passages with daylight, but deep: recreational gear with a torch, within your no-deco time (estimate).

Certification requirements, configurations and trimix depths are estimates for planning. Always check them locally and dive within your training. Compiled from web research (Oct 2026): Eden Rock Diving Center's own description on PADI and the PADI site pages it contributed (with pins), the websites of Red Sail Sports (dive sites and dive policy) and Ocean Frontiers (site pages with pins, shore diving, rental), Explore Cayman, the Department of Environment (marine parks, public moorings) and the Health Services Authority (chamber). These are reef caverns, tunnels and swim-throughs with daylight in reach, from the shore in George Town and by boat on the West Wall and in East End; the requirements come from the dive centres. Certification and configurations are estimates.
