Other people's footage, not advice: how someone else dives here says nothing about what suits your team. Dive within your training.

The dive

Two small caves with formations, clear water (visibility almost 40 m) and ~14 °C, in summer too. Martyn Farr calls it a fine cavern dive. Antonis Grafas's team filmed the caves in 2017.

Earthquakes have loosened walls and closed off a passage; the cave probably went further.

Depth and profile
Two caves, both heading south-south-west: the first to ~-5 m and ~40 m long, the second to ~-10 m and ~130 m long, with a narrow section.
Configuration
The second cave has a narrow section: sidemount or small kit is easier.
DPV: Not DPV-suitable (estimate)
Short caves: no scooter needed.

How to get there

In the middle of the village of Karavomilos, a few kilometres north of Sami: a small lake with lots of water plants along the edge. Easy access.
