Other people's footage, not advice: how someone else dives here says nothing about what suits your team. Dive within your training.

The dive

Splash Inn calls it a cavern for advanced divers. Outside the cavern, past the mooring, you'll find more swim-throughs, volcanic tunnels and canyons.

The chute is particularly narrow and long: only with excellent trim and buoyancy, behind your guide; the cavern holds about four divers at a time.
Profile and sections

Splash Inn calls it a cavern for advanced divers. Outside the cavern, past the mooring, you'll find more swim-throughs, volcanic tunnels and canyons.

Depth and profile
Starts with a narrow 'chimney chute' ~37 m (120 ft) long at ~15 m (50 ft). At the top of the wall the cavern entrance is at ~9 m (30 ft): a round chamber with a sandy floor, room for about four divers, with sunbeams through the ceiling.
Configuration
Narrow passage and a small cavern: recreational gear, compact and with a torch (estimate).

This is how the planner decides who in your team may dive this cave. Rules your own trip adds (organizer, a mail, the AI) show with your trip.

How to get there

Boat dive east of Half Moon Bay on the north coast, from West End. Only with a local dive centre; go in the morning if you can, for the best light in the cavern.

Certification requirements, configurations and trimix depths are estimates for planning. Always check them locally and dive within your training. Compiled from web research (Oct 2026): the websites of Splash Inn Dive Resort, Roatan Divers, Sun Divers and CoCo View Resort, the Roatan Marine Park (voluntary fee), Anthony's Key Resort on the chamber, El Heraldo (Feb 2026) on the 911 number and the PADI blog (May 2023) as support. No site has a published pin. These are guided boat dives into reef caverns, tunnels, swim-throughs and crevices with daylight in reach; the requirements come from the dive centres. Certification and configurations are estimates.
