This is Roatán's best-known dive site. The fissure probably formed in an ancient earthquake. Practical: Nitrox gives noticeably more bottom time here.

- Depth and profile
- A plateau at ~9 m (30 ft) sloping to ~18 m (60 ft), cut by deep crevices to ~37 m (120 ft), with swim-throughs and overhangs; then the sandy slope drops further.
- Configuration
- Crevices with daylight from above: recreational gear, within your no-deco time (estimate).

- Configurations: Backmount / twinset / Sidemount / CCR / Small cylinders / no-mount (speleo sumps)

How to get there
Boat dive on the south-east side, close to Barefoot Cay. Centres in West End mostly go when the wind is from the north; resorts on the south coast go more often.
