Other people's footage, not advice: how someone else dives here says nothing about what suits your team. Dive within your training.

The dive

The shallow part is nicknamed 'Swiss cheese' for its holed rock. Per Splash Inn the site suits all levels; the deep part is for advanced divers.

The deep part goes to ~40 m: only with a Deep specialty (or further as a tec diver). Watch your depth: the tunnel only comes out at ~30 m.
At the end of the last canyon is a cavern with dark, dangerous passages: only with a guide, and without cavern training not beyond the daylight (estimate).
Profile and sections

The shallow part is nicknamed 'Swiss cheese' for its holed rock. Per Splash Inn the site suits all levels; the deep part is for advanced divers.

Depth and profile
A sand chute runs as a tunnel through the reef wall: in at ~12 m (40 ft), out at ~30 m (100 ft). With a Deep specialty to ~40 m (135 ft); tec divers continue to the actual 'hole' (depth not published). Then shallow caverns, swim-throughs and canyons.
Configuration
Tunnel and swim-throughs with daylight: recreational gear with a torch, within your no-deco time (estimate).

Certification requirements, configurations and trimix depths are estimates for planning. Always check them locally and dive within your training. Compiled from web research (Oct 2026): the websites of Splash Inn Dive Resort, Roatan Divers, Sun Divers and CoCo View Resort, the Roatan Marine Park (voluntary fee), Anthony's Key Resort on the chamber, El Heraldo (Feb 2026) on the 911 number and the PADI blog (May 2023) as support. No site has a published pin. These are guided boat dives into reef caverns, tunnels, swim-throughs and crevices with daylight in reach; the requirements come from the dive centres. Certification and configurations are estimates.
